ideas?

I need some ideas on what might be wrong with my turn signals...

The right signal and blinker work fine, but when I put it to the left, it blinks like every 5-6 seconds (really really slow). I checked for shorts, fuses, etc. Could it be the flasher itself? Why would it work properly on one side and not the other. Thanks

Swap in the 4-way flasher from fuse block for the signal flasher next to the steering column and recheck. If it's still slow on one side, look or a corroded socket/bad ground.
