Identify chip 'GN8687-5'

Trying to identify a chip I came across in my garage, it has the stock 'RN' chip holder, the chip has a white label on it with 'GN8687-5' done some searching and didn't turn up much.

Anyone have an idea what this chip is?

Never seen a lable like that. Not much info on that label other than 8687 for years it runs. Can't imaging what the -5 indicates. Must have been made by somebody I'm not familiar with.

sounds like the old "Quality Engineering" "Dash 5" chip. old tech but probably ok for a close to stock car. Not sure on its octane requirements, so keep an eye on the knock retard.
