so im looking at ebay motors to try to find out how much my little bros car he is getting is worth and i come across this car 1995 Honda Civic Dx Manual item # #250020604741. so im looking at it and it says in the item Race Tachnometer. So being the Smartass that i am i figured hell i can have fun with this so i sent him a message asking about it. here is my message. (i see your add for you honda civic and i see it has a Race Tachnometer i was wondering if that adds power since i have never heard of a Tachnometer) so i check my messages today and he puts this (A Tachnometer gauges the rpms so you can shift better. It dosent make the car go faster. ) what a ****ing idiot. LOL thought you guys would like that.

Tech-nometer? Isn't that the new age music crap that the kids listen to these days? It's probably a graphic equalizer ;)

Perhaps I'm not getting the joke? You're making fun of someone who spelled a word incorrectly, yes? Have you taken a good look at your post there smart guy? Use the "shift" button to capatalize a letter for a proper noun or at the beginning of a sentence. Also, use "these" to show quotes, they are actually called "quotation marks". One other tip, your quote under your username says "Whats a Intercooler". You would want to say "Whats an intercooler?".

I always love when someone tries to show anothers ignorance but ends up proving their own instead.

And for a ricer, he can't be all bad, half of them probably think the tach makes the car faster!

you shoulda wrote back and ask if the car already has one from the factory. Why would you need two???

Believe it or not, factory tachs are frequently very inaccurate. The tach in my buick is useless, thats why I have an autometer in the car. The tach in my firebird was off by 500 rpm at 6300. I would shift at 5800 and data logs would show 6300. On top of that, it can be easier to see an aftermarket tach. Aftermarket tachs also frequently have shift lights which are very helpful

or does it matter if it even has a tach? lots of cars (even stick) dont have any

just pointing out why you might see 2 tachs in one car

pssst pablo. I already knew WHY the ricers do it I was just being sarcastic.. :)
