Idles really fast and rough!??

My car just started actin up right now. I went out to start it after installing my new front frame braces and it ran at about 2000 RPM and when it did slow down it was really rough. I changed the MAF sensor with one that was on my brother's car and it didn't seem to help. I also had a thrasher 97 octane chip in it so I put the stock chip back in, that also didn't help. I need to fix my car cuz it is my daily driver for now. It has a K&N air filter, An ATR 3" DP, and alky. Please help!!

Maybe a vacuum leak? Do you have any scantool data?

No, I don't have one right now but I can borrow my friends tomorrow. I'll check for a vaccum leak now and get back to you. Any more suggestions also are appreciated. How exactly do you do a "tap test" and what does it mesn if the rpm's change??

You can take the handle of a screwdriver and tap the MAF while the engine is running. If the car stumbles while tapping the MAF, the MAF is bad.......although, I have had a bad MAF before and the tap test didn't tell me squat.

Could you have bumped/disconnected something while putting the braces on?
