If you could order a brand new 1987 Turbo Regal what would you choose? Let's hear your most desirable option combinations.

If you're not up for a GN, would you pick a T or a T-Limited? What options would you pick and what color exterior/interior would you choose?

I love ALL of the 86/87 TR's and plan to buy a white one soon, but I'll always have to have a GN first....it's the baddest appearance package ever!

what the hell kind of question is this, lol.ill be smilin all night now dreaming of having a brand new buick.i love the color of my t but i love em all. decisions.:D

I've gotta say I always had a soft spot for a White T (Limited or T-Type) with the W02 sport package.

Give me a White T-Type / Turbo-T (or T Limited) loaded with W02 black-out, cruise, PW/PL, courtesy lights, map lights, G80 posi, astro roof, trunk kit, bench seat with red velour interior.....ahhh, nice.

Going fast with class plus a touch of attitude with the W02 black-out. That's a car you could really feel classy going to a well-to-do dinner or out hunting Mustangs and rice.

Perfect:

Sage green Limited with all the chrome, opera lights, cornering lights, power everything including astroroof, buckets and console, CSII and make sure it had aluminum drums and bumper supports. Also order a dealer installed GN spoiler and GN wheels. Find a tint shop, race gas and crank the boost!!

Second choice would be the light blue with grey interior and dealer installed GN seats front and rear along with the GN wheels and spoiler! Keep all the original wheels/tires and seats in the attic.:D

I've only seen one that was dark green I don't know for sure if it was a factory option or not (he said it was), if so it'd be that color.

87 T, Grey Int, Sunroof, Rear defrost, Spoiler, Limited Slip, Black out trim with chrome bumpers, Cruise, Power windows n locks, Tilt, Console.

In other words all the stuff my car doesn't have and no damn bench seat.

Wow! I understand Buick eliminated Sage Green due to it's lack of popularity.

I recenlty re-read some chapters of Dennis Kirban's book Guide to 1986-1987 Turbo Regals. He said Buick offered a $200 option to have your car painted ANY COLOR GM offered from any division. I'm not sure if Cadillac had some wild yellows, oranges or greens but could you imagine a factory yellow T with W02??

I like them all, but if i cant have one of each, i would probably order a GN with the same options i have now....G80 Posi and the UX1 radio with EQ. Maybe i would get the rear defogger too, but i kinda like the look of the rear window without it.

Anything Rosewood with the oustside opera lights!!!I love that combo.

Also gotta check the 274 s2 option;)

rosewood T with rosewood bucket seat interior, digital dash, astro roof, g-80, chrome bumpers, ac, rear defrost, power windows, locks, seat. concert sound II ......YES!!!! When can I pick it up.

Been there, done that!

Coming up on 19 years ago I did this, and then added some "options" of my own!:)

The years have not been kind to the dealer warranty paint job as even with only 9000 mile it is cracking in places.:(

With tan leather.

Second would be my car new, Black Limited/chrome/Tan Leather.

I still have a 1986 dealer printout of the car I almost ordered brand new from Coast Buick in NJ. Dark blue, blue buckets, full power and digital dash. I took an '86 GN off of the lot instead.

If I were to order a car right now I would get:

Designers' Accent Dark Red/Rosewood
Limited package
Grey Leather 45/45 seats w/ non-op console
G80, Concert Sound II, full power
Cornering lights, padded landau w/ coach lamps

I'm surprised at the poplarity of the coach lamps. I thought I was the only oddball.

What's especially surprising is the desire for digital dash. I heard they were problematic, not asthetically pleasing and expensive to fix.

Got it!

WhiteTurbo-T with blackout, burgundy interior, coach lamps, manual seats, radio delete, no rear defroster, power windows, fixed mast antenna, G80.

Sorry, couldn't order the coach lamps unless it was a Limited and it couldn't have the W02. Buick's rules...not mine. :)
