I can't wait for Saddam and his inner circle to be destroyed. How people can oppose this war I don't know.

Thing that makes no sense to me is Bush has been consistent in his views IMO. He said after 9/11 we would go after anyone involved in the attacks or supporting the terrorists. People were all for it then because they were mad about 9/11 and now it's a different story? Do people forget that easily?

How will these people feel if we waited til we were attacked again and then went to war? Except the next attack will be worse I bet. Why didn't we let Hitler just keep killing the Jews? Because it wasn't right, that's why. Why should we let Saddam keep torturing people then? He is nothing more then a modern Adolf Hitler with nuclear weapons. He needs to go down.

Amen bro'

They are not anti-war they are anti-bush. Where were these people when "Bubba" was bombing Kosavo? Probably smoking pot and getting bl*wn:eek: :D

All the rhetoric on whether or not we should go to war against Iraq has
got my insane, little brain spinning like a roulette wheel. I enjoy
reading opinions from both sides but I have detected a hint of confusion
from some of you.

As I was reading the newspaper recently, I was reminded of the best
advice someone ever gave me. He told me about the KISS method ("Keep It
Simple, Stupid!). So, with this as a theme, I'd like to apply this
theory for those who don't quite get it. My hope is that we can simplify
things a bit and recognize a few important facts.

Here are 10 things to consider when voicing an opinion on this important
issue:

1) Out of President Bush and Saddam Hussein ... Hussein is the bad guy.

2) If you have faith in the United Nations to do the right thing keep
this in mind: They have Libya heading the committee on human rights and
Iraq heading the global disarmament committee. Do your own math here.

3) If you use Google search and type in "French military victories,"
your reply will be; "Did you mean French military defeats?"

4) If your only anti-war slogan is "no war for oil," sue your school
district for allowing you to slip through the cracks and robbing you of
the education you deserve.

5) Saddam and Bin Laden will NOT seek United Nations approval before
they try to kill us.

6) Despite common belief, Martin Sheen is not the president. (He plays
one on T.V.)

7) Even if you are anti-war, you are still an "infidel!", And Bin Laden
wants you dead, too!

8) If you believe in a "vast right-wing conspiracy" but not in the
danger that Hussein poses, quit hanging out with the Dell Computer dude.

9) We are not trying to liberate them.

10) Whether you are for military action or against it, our young men and
women overseas are fighting for us to defend our right to speak out. We
all need to support THEM without reservation.

I hope this helps.

I couldn't agree more!!!

The one thing that really sticks in my mind is how many backseat drivers there are around the world. They all seem ready to give you that big slap on the back when the dirty work is done.

I also don't remember any of these countries that are ready to veto this move helping us in the aftermath of 9/11, not that we needed them.

Peace Activist Etiquette

With all of this talk of impending war, many of us will encounter "Peace
Activists" who will try and convince us that we must refrain from
retaliating against the ones who terrorized us all on September 11, 2001,
and those who support terror.

These activists may be alone or in a gathering.....most of us don't know how
to react to them. When you come upon one of these people, or one of their
rallies, here are the proper rules of etiquette:

1. Listen politely while this person explains their views. Strike up a
conversation if necessary and look very interested in their ideas. They will
tell you how revenge is immoral, and that by attacking the people who did
this to us, we will only bring on more violence. They will probably use many
arguments, ranging from political to religious to humanitarian.

2. In the middle of their remarks, without any warning, punch them in the
nose.

3. When the person gets up off of the ground, they will be very angry and
they may try to hit you, so be careful.

4. Very quickly and calmly remind the person that violence only brings about
more violence and remind them of their stand on this matter. Tell them if
they are really committed to a nonviolent approach to undeserved attacks,
they will turn the other cheek and negotiate a solution. Tell them they must
lead by example if they really believe what they are saying.

5. Most of them will think for a moment and then agree that you are correct.

6. As soon as they do that, hit them again. Only this time hit them much
harder. Square in the nose.

7. Repeat steps 2-5 until the desired results are obtained and the idiot
realizes how stupid of an argument he/she is making.
