I have a full race built 2004R with a PI 3200 non lock conv. The trans has been in the car for over three years with fluid changes every season. When racing the car at the track I've noticed that the car will rip when in first and second and then when it shifts to third it seems to slow down a little until I reach 5600rpm or higher and then it will pull hard again. My Speed Pro record is showing that in third the rpms are at 5300 then jump to 5350 then drop to 5300 and back to 5400 and back and forth until about 5600 then it pulls hard again. My ignition is a brand new Delco coil pack and module with Autolite 103s. After inspecting the plugs I noticed that the gap was not quite .32 like I thought I gapped them to, but more like .33/.34 on some of the plugs. Also there was a coating of lead on the tips. I only use leaded fuel and car is street driven a little, but plugs are 2 months old. I'm going to test the pack and module with the Casper's tester to try and narrow this down. Just asking if any one has had the same problems. Thanks.
