Im looking for a chrome alternator

anyone have any leads for a chrome alternator to replace my stock one. Kirban dropped his supplier as the chroming was not up to par.
Ive got a lead from someone around my neck of the woods who has a polished one and was wondering if someone has any pros and cons to polishing vs chrome

I just got a Kirbin's peice a few days ago. No problems so far.

I will have to research home where i got mine from but it was around 150 but i cant find their website (its been a while since i looked for a chrome alt)

Polished is going to be a pain in the A$$. Kirbans has a very very nice one for $180. Doesnt get much nicer.

I can go to a nearby automotive electronics shop and he can order the chrome case and swap my internals over for about $50.Its not triple plated show chrome but its chrome.

I think I bought the last one Kirbin sells My local Alternator shop gave me a great quote on a Chrome shell but I was a little worried about the quality. I bought Kirbins!

Powermaster has them, but they are no where as cheap as Kirban's were.
