Has anyone but me noticed that Chain Stores (of all types), Chain Restaurants, Beer Brands, Chiropractors, Etc..... have mostly slowed down or even STOPPED advertising on TV? Blame it on Covid??????

5 local LONG TIME restaurants in my 'hood have closed FOREVER since March. Someone give me a path forward from that.

That would be nice to have the variety of commercials you do around here. We have only 2, the stank lawyers wanting to sue everyone or big pharma pushing their poisons.
Although, on the local news Chick-Fil-A wants to build a new restaurante here and they had some freakish non gender queer lesbian (it's own description) on against it because they aren't lbgtq-rstuv friendly. Now I'm going for sure!

Yeah, it sure is frustrating but think of where the country would be if Trump wasn't President. If we humble ourselves before the Lord and ask forgiveness we may get a reprieve. But they're an awful lot of people that are too proud.

Whatever a tinkers dam is I agree with you, with some definate exceptions society/ppl are shitty, hard to govern your way out of that. For me I noticed the change begin in 2006... 2007 was the big change nail in coffin, neighbors weren't even lifting their heads to say hello, iPhones, Facebook all that excessive poison seemed to take hold around that time go figure.. been kind of a non descript blur of time since then.. before that period of time I can remember what projects I was working on etc some real specifics but since 07 a blur.. something in the food?

Thanks for asking. Didn’t have to be paddle today, the heart kick back into gear. Damn happy about that. The wife said I’ll go home tomorrow, she told my heart Dr’s she would take a couple of days off to watch me.

There, those idiot phones have done away with all personal contact almost. People don't seem to know how to interact anymore. Disgusting to sit in a restaurante and see a table of 6 sitting there and all of them will be on their goofy phones.

Weird is being nice to whats going on now. Watching a lot of these rioters, looters, etc is like looking at zombies, as if their under mind control. Especially some with the crazy wild looking eyes. Read an article by some whacked out university prof that wants the government to put drugs in the water supply to make people more docile and easier to manipulate.
We get yearly reports from the county water authority and it gives an analyst of how the water tested. Pharmaceuticals was one of them. Seems that so many people are dumping drugs down the toilet and going out to the lake where the water is drawn from. Plus fluoride has been added to water for years.

Some old guy observations....We grew up on a crank fone. 2 shorts, and a long.
Yesterday, I forgot the cell fone. I was gone all day.
I got home, saw it lying on the counter, and thought, what/who have I missed, not having it with me?
A single word describes it all............Nothing!
A further "missed nothing", the storm put the tv out for the evening.
Some conveniences are OK. One that comes to mind is, the house fone answering machine can be shut off.
