So, I'm driving home from an evening class. I am in my 12 year old Chevy 4x4 pick up; and I happen upon a riced-up Celica and a stock Subaru.

Well, it looked like those two wanted to play, but everytime they got to a point where it looked like they could open it up a litttle, someone else would, invariably, pull out and block them.

I was split on feeling sorry for them: that general traffic idiots were not paying attention to faster moving traffic in the left lane, and on the other side, I was mildly amused: at these two guys who thought they were Speed Racer's but couldn't pull away from my old pick up.

You should feel nothing but contempt for them...that's what you should feel.

I wouldn't care. It's a public road. Everybody can drive on it. It's not an exclusive ricer race track.

I do get annoyed with people who feel the need to go down the highway and ride side by side slowing up traffic for miles. But that's the 'flow of traffic', not racing.

As for them racing your truck. I always find that amusing when they can't outrun a truck, let alone each other or the GN. :)

LOL... I love beating up the local ricers with the dually in my sig if the roads are clear and Im in a mood to waste some gas. Sometimes I feel sorry for em cause they have obviously put some time/cash/effort into thier cars only to get trounced by a red neck limo from a light but then again maybe it will teach one or two of em that a wing and ~8" exh does not automatically make a ~1.8 liter powered car faster.
