I got my new maf about a month ago and finally have had time to put it on the car. When I took the factory unit off, I noticed that there was no way that the new maf was going to fit. I measured the outer dimensions and they were 3.5"'s. This was supposed to be a 3" unit cause I still run the factory air box, which I plan on changing in the future. I was wondering, are the outer demensions really 3.5"s on those or did I just get the wrong part?? Thanks!

the ACDelco part number for the 3" impala MAF is 25180303. you may have a f-body LT1 maf which is different than the LT1 impala maf. or its a LS1 3.5".

So, the outer dimensions are supposed to be 3" then? I will check the part number when I get home. Thanks for the quick reply!

The 3" sensor is 3.25" on the outside, Never tried to run one with the stock airbox But aI am sure it could be made to work

Hey Mike, this is one I just actaully ordered from you about a month ago. So, its supposed to have 3.25" outer dimension, cause the one I got has 3.5". I will double check the product number with my order. Looks like I am goin to have to upgrade my air induction either way, better sooner then later I guess, lol. Thanks!

I just checked the MAF and the code on the box is 25180303. The code on the actual MAF is 89873784644. Is this the 3" impala maf sensor?? Thanks!

That would be a 3" unit. takes a 3.25" hose to connect

No clue, send it in and I will measure it. All the numbers are for a commmon 3" unit. I really don't know what else to tell you other than that. Might be better to give me a call or post on my board instead of using up bandwidth here for this
