Import Guy Thinks I work at Jiffy Lube

I was standing in line at autozone trying to buy a master cylinder for my Mustang. I was wearing a white golf shirt with the turbo 6 logo on it. A man was standing next to me with his family when he scoffed, looked in my direction, and muttered something to his wife about Jiffy Lube.

I said the first thing that popped to my mind. I told him I own most of the Southeastern Jiffy Lube Stores. That changed his tune. I think his wife even liked me a little more after that.

Then I heard him get parts for his 01 Jetta

Some guy called my wife's GN a Jiffy Lube car in a parking lot one time.

I told him in 1987, Jiffy lube received 20,000 base Regals and modified them to their exacting specifications.

Just goes to show how very stupid and illiterate most people can actually be.

The Buick Power 6 is in fact a "6", while if you look at the Jiffy Lube logo it is in fact a "J" with a continuation loop in it. Looks a lot like a six if you tend to read backwards that is.

A friend of mine with a 70 Chevelle calls my car the "Jiffy Lube Express". If I ever see him at a stop light he WILL find out how "Jiffy" it is! This is the same guy that asked me how my Grand Am was doing......smarta$$

my friend used to work at jiffy lube and always makes jokes about it with my car...he drives a Mustang too (keeping my lips sealed now)

At a Jiffy Lube very close to me there is a gas station that has good prices.
While I am there fueling up I frequently see the Jiffy Lube personnel warming up their coffee cans = revving their little imports with the exhaust tips that make their cars sound so funny.
Moral of the story; Jiffy Lube and imports go together...
