in car alky guage

anybody think about having a alky guage in car like autometer guages?? i think it would be a great idea if we could get them.:biggrin:

actual pressure would be great! The first sign of a pump going out(at least in my case) is a decrease in pressure. Any good/safe way to do this?

im sure it wouldnt be hard to do the pressure. how much pressure is the pump putting out?

With a psi in car gauge on the surface it seems simple but finding a sending unit that is cost effective and methanol compatible well thats hard. What about coming at it this way…no knock good to go, knock something is wrong. IMO - get a knock gauge and/or audible knock gauge its a lot cheaper.

I would be very interested in a "in car" gauge that read psi. I just know in my situation a drop in pressure from ~120psi to 90ish psi may not register any significant knock(<2.0) I would like to intercept a failing pump before the "death rattle" is ever heard/seen.
