I'm looking to get 11.50's at the track.

Mods are in sig- te 60 alky mild ported heads 202/202 cam.

I'm doing 11.85 right now, launch at 8psi and run about 24psi wot possibly want to try a slightly bigger cam. Any suggestions?

If the car is tuned and running properly I don't see why you can't reach your goal. My totally stock engine went 11.20 with a TE62, V4 slic and other supporting mods.

whats the rest of the slip look like?fuel used, timing, afr, weight of your car?

I was runnung 93 octane with about 30% e 85. timing was 23*\21*. 10.8 afr. 60 foot time was 1.65. The car weighs 3800lbs.

what you need to look at are the 1/8-1/4 mph gains to see how the car is on the backhalf.your 60ft is real soft so im assuming the 330 could be improved as well.what was the mph?the small turbo like the 60mm should leave hard and you should target 1.5 60fts and 117/119mph traps.

Ok I will keep that in mind. I don't have the slip at the moment, I will look at it tonight.

Would a different cam help. I have an erson 202/202 right now. What do you recommend.

time slip

60' 1.665
330' 4.806
1/8 7.523
mph 90.48
1000' 9.881
1/4 11.891
mph 111.49

here is the pl file for this run

your running 25* timing outta the hole, then it drops to 24, right before 3rd it goes to 21, id be concerned about that knock- it most likely pulled timing and affected your time.

also, 730's 02 readings and a 10.30's a/f ratio doesnt make sense, one of the two isnt accurate, and seeing that knock halfway through third makes me think its the wideband...did you calibrate the lc-1 correctly?

the more i think about it, its the 30% e85 that could be skewing your readings

I guess what im after is if I can get my 60' down and keep octane up. What cam would be suggested. Not looking to go roller st this point.

first i would get some clean passes without the e85, back the boost down a bit and see if the knock goes away

car is falling on its face from 1/8 to 1/4 with only a 21mph gain.is the converter locked?mph is very low at the 1/8 and 1/4.with a 60, heads and cam car should fly with 24psi.you shouldnt worry about another cam at this point but rather maximize what you have.pull the plugs and look at them take the boost down till you see no knock, knock at 1000ft is not good.

here is a log with no knock. it is from the sameday and the tt chip settings are the same as the other run.

60' 1.750
330' 4.889
1/8 7.580
mph 91.13
1000' 9.923
1/4 11.929
mph 111.60

mph is up on this run, but i left it in drive instead of 3rd.

as far as the converter goes, i dont think it is locked the pl doesnt say so. how do i lock it up on a run and when. i did have some fairly used plugs in there on these runs. i now have the acdelco 42's in there, gaped to about .027

what could be done to help it in the last 1/8th
