Which tr's are more desireable....hardtops, t-tops or sunroof cars? I own a hardtop but i have always liked t-top cars too. I have noticed that on ebay, some of the hard top cars seem to sell a bit higher in price that none hard top's or is it just coincidence? I would think that glass on the roof would fetch more money.

i'll take a T-Top over any other any day of the week.
Most wont because of
1-Water leaks
2-Rattle
3-body flex
4-body rot around the T-Tops and down the A-pillar

So if you want a T-Top car spend a little extra and go for the "Garage queen" you will be a head of the game with only rattles and body flex to fight.

Hard tops are the most refined looking of the choices.

1) hardtop, because I like to play in the corners a tad.
2) Astroroof, much rarer & kool
3) there is no other choice.
4) I personally am on my 5th turbo Buick, ( 1 '86 & 4 '87's) & all have been solid roof cars.

I have probably stripped 20 t top g bodies and every one I ever took apart had rot in the roof. All of them were what I call outside cars . A garaged car that spent its whole life in a garage might not have this same issue in my opinion.

My personal favorites are the astroroof cars .

My Rosewood car used to have T-tops. It was the first tubo car I ever bought and I swore I would never buy another T-top car. When I had it painted I even considered cutting off the roof and replacing it with a solid roof but it wasn't worth the hassle. My current car is a solid roof car and I like it a lot better. Astro roof cars are cool but it cuts down on headroom and I'm pretty tall and adds weight too.

I like my moonroof even though it is a dealer added roof

Astroroof or the ASC sunroof.... Got one of each. Like Gary says "much rarer & Kool" (Probably faster too)

It's not an opinion...hardtop cars fetch the most money.

A "collector-grade" T-top car is fine, but they don't stand up to much abuse before they start to rattle and rust. I have one or more of each at the moment, and I like them all equally. The hardtop is a solid car, the astroroof is unique, and the T-tops can't be beat on a sunny day.
