injector recommendation? 50 or 65 lb?

I am going to run a PT61 from precision. I have the fuel pump and reg (340, hotwired), 3500 converter, 87 ecm and related parts, intercooler, etc. The guy at Precision told me to get 65# high impedance, but he also then let me know they were the only ones selling them (how convenient). Not saying he is just trying make a sale, but I have also seen advertisers marketing 50lb injectors saying they would handle up to 900hp.

So who's right?

how could I NOT need more fuel when I switch to the pt61????

Cuz I'm running a 61 with 42.5's and about 40# of fuel pressure on the 2nd setting of my maxeffort.

Basically,I've got LOTS of fuel left,I could easily have run the times I just ran on 37's.

Spend the money on something that will actually make you go faster.

With an intercooler though you will need more fuel. I would say the 50's or the 65's most folks will tell you they are flowed about the same. You also won't have to worry about upgrading anytime soon...
