I look at it this way:

- putting them back on only takes a minute
- putting them in a bag, in a box, where you might never find them again takes 5 minutes
- discarding them takes seconds, BUT...

Well, tell you what. If you feel the urge to throw your clips or any other original TR part in good condition away, just mail them to me...

:D

Those clips are a pain in the as* to remove, and usually get bent. Injector will NOT move up or down in the rail. If you want mine, issue a UPS call tag and I will gladly give them to anyone!

I can put them on, I build my own cars, thanks. I build my own dogbox tranny for my 10sec subaru, port and polish my own turbos, Build motorcycles, and have the sense to see that those clips do nothing! At all!. It is sometimes hard to spin the injector to the right place to gain access to clip groove. Most injectors are no problem, but one or two are a pain, it is easy when rail is off, but when the rail is on and you want to remove it, I like for the injectors to stay on manifold, not stuck in the rail. Therefor I never use them, I think 90% of the buick world does the same. You can feel special if you use them, more power to ya! Have fun with your GN, go spank some mustangs.

HUH!Maybe the NEW delphi injectors I bought are shorter than stock.I don't know! All I can tell you is when I put the rail on,I had to raise the injectors up to get the clips to line up.Without the clip I could move the injectors up and down in their bore. But not so much as to reveal the O-rings in either direction.Go figure!Later:D
