Dave,
Did it happen right off the line, or when you were rolling. Input shafts are "usually" no big deal, as long as they break off cleanly at the stator support.

more than likely it is the input shaft.trans must be removed to replace and be sure it isnt the od carrier ring gear or forward drum.ive got the billet shafts for 249.00 if you need one.
