installing a B&M Pro Stick/Quarter Stick....how?

does anyone have a good procedure for installing a B&M Pro Stick in a GN? I am replacing my stock shifter with one, and their directions aren't really clear. If anyone has some tips/instructions, please tell me! I have the Pro Stick without cover, a console overlay, new shifter cable, and backup-light switch.

Believe those instructions are for just the Hurst Quarterstick. The B&M is very similar so I guess it would point you in the right direction. The overlays we sell for these two shifters ARE different.

buickgn, how are they different? i bought one off of your sight for a quater stick but i have a pro stick. i have the overlay installed on the main plastic peice but not in the car yet. are they spaced different or something? the way i mounted my shifter was i lined up the holes in the front of the shifter with the hole in the original shifter bracket. (saw that in a GS Xtra) instead if making a block for a spacer in the rear i just tack welded the two brackets together in the four corners and then removed the bolts. i think i may have to move it back some though. it feels to far forward. any thoughts? thanks , jeremy
