Ok, How hard is it to install the adjustable wastegate??
For someone like me who isnt exactly a wizard when it comes to working on cars would this be a difficult project? I plan on ordering one from kirbans within the next few weeks. If it's somewhat difficult maybe one of you guys near me who have done this before could possibly lend me a hand?
What exactly do you hafta do to install it?
Thanks

First get a roach clip alligator clip from radio shack, or a throttle body latch clip will work also.

Secondly take the factory retaining clip off the wastegate arm. Most likely you will break or lose it don't worry you already have a new clip ready from the step above. :)

Pull the actuator arm off the puck flapper pivot arm.

Take the hose off the wastegate actuator.

Spray the two bolts with penetrating oil, night before works well for this step.

Undo the two bolts and it falls off. :)

Put the new one on in reverse order.

Don't forget to zip tie the hose on and put your roach clip in place. Solder a wire to it and you can tie the roach clip wire to the A/C hose or oil line hose so when you make adjustments it stays in the car.
