Where is the best place to mount the IAT sensor? When I bought my TTA, it already had a K&N cone filter w/chorme pipe going to the turbo, I found the IAT laying in the try below with a broken tip. I picked up a new AC Delco, IAT sensor, but I'm not sure were to mount it with the 8' K&N filter? I heard some say drill into the filter before the MAF and other say drill/tap the chrome pipe after the MAF. Does anybody have any pictures of there set up or recommend a position for the IAT, Thanks!!!

yeah what Grumpy said...put mine right in the cuve of the K&N neck. Start with a small drill and work your way up till you can get it in...keep the hole as small as possible and it will stay in place just fine.

If I drill into the kneck of the K&N, does it stay in place ok? Or does it have to be held in place with rtv or a washer/nut on the inside of the filter? Any pictures? Thanks again!!!

drill a smaller hole and it will stay in place.. have done this since 86
