intake backfire

any ideas whats causing this?
my car idles ok, but has a tip and stumble problem, and as soon as i get into boost any more then 5 psi, itll start backfiring thru the intake
it does this in all gear ranges except when i hit a fairly high speed
around 70 mph then its ok pulls hard

im running ac 43's magnecore wires stock coil pack and module

any other mods? btw, my car backfires through the intake too but only from a stop and it has a tip in stumble too. my injectors are bad

most all the time an intake pop is from going lean

missfire and or rich condition will usually go out the exaust.

thta makes sense b/c my BLMs were 160

I had the same problem, one injector went bad and i didnt have a real boost gauge at the time, the stock one was saying somewhere around 3-5 and it would pop and sputter.. it was hard to get it up to 60!

damn my car was a REAL PILE when I bought that thing .. hmm.. now that I think about it, that guy from titusville LIED through his teeth when I *Asked* what was wrong with the car and he replies "Nothing!".... OH HA HA! !! SURELY WE JEST!!? .. apparently.. ah you guys dont care.. but thats my point.. bad fuel injectors.. better to get a set of 36 lb if you're running stockers right now, give you some breathing room, and a custom chip made for them will be real nice too.

ya i thought it was maybe a lean pop so i upped the fuel pressure to 44 line off, that didnt work
im running 100 oct unleaded
my injs have been cleaned and flowed
im running 55's, dual intake pumps, reds 93, pte 53, champion iron heads.
