I bought a NOS Turbo 6 intake emblem from ebay, and waws wondering what the best wat to attach it would be. It has just a plain metal backing. I was thinking maybe some RTV. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Clean the intake well to be sure it is free of any grease and use a 2 part epoxy.

The factory used clear silicone so you might want to think about what will work better.

Thanks for the input guys. I have some 2 part epoxy so I think I'm gonna give that a shot.

Turbo Six hot air intake emblem

ONLY THE HOT AIR TURBO G-body CARS GO THIS ATTRACTIVE PIECE OF JEWELRY ON THE ENGINE! WITH THE BETTER LOOKING ORANGE AND ORANGE-RED COLORS! BUICK could not get all the Turbo six logo to a uniform color scheme, THE floor mats, head rest backs, and some after market logo mechandise are the UGLY yellow/red colors!

THE same emblem was also used on N/A 1985 3.8 (not 3800) FWD buick Park Ave Intake. This intake I got from local bone yard, and it looks like a 86-87 intake except it is one piece design with UN- removable (solid cast) throttle body " DOG HOUSE".

REGARDS, TURBO E38

PS. I WOULD USE SIICONE SEAL, THAT WAY YOU CAN GET IT OFF WITH OUT BREAKING IT!!!! POLISH THE TOP SURFACE WITH A GOOD WAX !
