heads are milled and block is decked I need to get the intake manifold and intake runners on heads realigned. Can I use double Fel Pro 1200's or do I get the intake milled to? If I get it milled, where do I have it cut. Its sitting to low right now, needs to come up 1/4" or so to be in alignment with the heads

If the intake is sitting to low you don't need anymore cut off of it!

When you have the intake sitting on the engine you're saying the intake is sitting too low...even with the intake gaskets installed? I would think if you milled the heads and the block the intake should sit higher since the heads are now lower. The Fel-Pro gaskets will put the intake a little higher but I don't think it's going to make it a 1/4" higher.... that's a lot.

Yep!!

That's the way it should be... Unless you have an intake that's been cut a bunch.....
There's a formula to calculate the amt to take off the intake, based on the amts taken from the block and heads. Your machinist should be able to do the calcs, and cut the intake to fit..

If the intake is sitting low, place your intake gaskets and check your port alignment with the intake bolts intsallled. I just ran a bead of silicon like you normally would.

the block was decked , heads were milled and had single steel shim gaskets on it ... the intake was milled to fit that combo

might just have to run 2 gaskets on each side to get it to line up with fel-pro's
