Well, I dont really know how many people have tried this but I thought it would be worth a Try.
Im going to take a 3" Peice of Pipe, cut, bend, cut, bend, cut, weld, weld, weld... ect.. From the turbo, To the MAF, down were the stock airbox is (which will be removed). loop up to an intercooler sitting in the grille. Well, true the intercooler will have cold outside air blowing into it.. but Im going to make it a Dry Ice resivior (spelling). Since dry ice doesnt melt. I was also going to Install a Alky injection kit somewere up twards the turbo on the intake side, and either shoot Alky, or Nitrous. Which ever one is the coldest. I think that I might be able to get the intake temps down to around 15 degrees before it hits the turbo, so that it will heat up to around 70-80 when fully compressed.
With this set-up I should be able to run about 25psi. Forget about the fuel and tuning and all that, I know that comes into play. But theroreticly thats what I SHOULD be able to run.
So With that setup, 3.5" Down pipe and 3" exhaust.
If the turbo was,.. I guess.. uh.. 'supportive' enough, it would crank out 450rwhp 525lbs/tq
Oh well, mabey I could hit 550-600rwhp with a TE63 and P&P Heads and bored .030 over.
What do you guys think?
