intercooler fan

I'm looking at going with a Thunderfab or PTE stock location intercooler.

Stupid question....do you still use the stock IC fan, or is it even necessary? Will it even fit?

Yes, it should fit. I would recommend leaving it on.

I recently installed a P.T.E stock location I.C and i'm in the process of doing some Research on this intercooler to get rid of the heat soak problem: air flow, temps, as of now I have some numbers on the maximum air flow and the temps and i'm working with a company on making a custom fan that will mount behind the I.C and pull cool air right through the I.C .as soon as this info is available (anouther month) I'm going to let p.t.e know and then i'll let everyone else know how everything is going and where to purchase the product. scot w.
