Powerstroke Intercooler?

Does anyone have a dealer part number for the power stroke intercooler that will fit in my GN?

The P/S intercooler from 1999-2000 is all aluminum and now discontinued in Ford parts. The later models use plastic end tanks which, of course, are available.

Both versions are interchangable in size and fit, however either will not fit a GN without cutting the radiator core/inner fenders or modifying the intercooler.

go to www.car-parts.com & you can get one from there my buddy was actually able to get a new one from a yard
The one I got actually had the aluminum tanks
The price for ours where under $100 bucks, very much worth the time and effort
Just make sure to get that thing mtg as low as possible so you do not end up with an interference with the header panel like I did
my buddy cut 1 ear each on the bumper mounts to make sure to avoid any installation issues you also dont have to cut any of the head light buckets when you do this

Do you guys just make your own piping? Does any pipe come close to fitting for an easier begining? Any pics of a ford intercooler mounted on a TR?

I'm doing an install on mine now. Pulled the header panel and bumper off yesterday. I'm taking pics as I go along too so you'll be able to see the process. The I/C will HOPEFULLY be here today and the project will continue tomorrow

Let me know how it fits, how hard it is to cut pipes to fit. My GN is a nice piece, and i don't want to mutilate my front end.

well, I got mine in place today. just gotta plumb it all up now. Did a LOT of cutting and clearancing to mountthe I/C as low as physically possible, but I still had to clearance the header panel on the head light area. Adjusters are history. But it all fits together now. Time to start running pipe

i saw a old post that a guy with the screename gs70350 installed a powerstroke and he didnt have to cut the bumper support or the fenderliner at all he sat the intercooler on the bumper supports the part that moves when the bumper is hit and had no header panel problems i got my ic off car-part.com it was 75 dollars plus shipping it is aluminum

You don't have as many problems if you cut 3-4 rows off the top.

That saves cutting the header panel and I belive the headlight buckets
