No doubt, our IC is better than the PTE and the RJC, but other than temp numbers, your PTE will get you into the 9's... just because it will get you there, doesn't mean it is doing it efficiently...

I have refrained from doing a comparison photo shoot with RJC ICer, out of respect. Since his was a Chinese style knock-off of my original unit, he uses an old IC of mine to do comparison pics... unfortunately, he doesn't show a picture comparison of our current units.. for obvious reasons..

I found this comment posted by Jack Cotton over on his board. I get a good laugh out of it because after years of stomping his feet arguing with me, now he seems to recognize intercooler efficiency as being a important factor over "just running a number". I see he was forced to do some research on his own to understand that. It is real simple to perform efficiency tests on a intercooler so you can come out with some real proof like I have in the past and keep the unsubstantiated "opinions" where they belong.

Now I think it would be appropriate to back up the comment about Jasons intercooler being a Chinese built knock off with some facts Jack and back up more of your propaganda.

RJC and Cotton are both Vendors here and I would use either of their products in a heartbeat. I think both IC's can get the job done...

I would assume Jack would not post these kind of statements unless he knew the real answer. I guess he will have to spill the beans now or retract his comment about Jason.

Is "Chinese style knockoff" the same thing as "Chinese built knockoff"? To me one says it was reverse engineered like the Chinese do and one says it was reverse engineered by the Chinese. Just like most of your posts, as long as you get to slam Jack, I guess the truth doesn't really matter.

i agree...I read it too, and it doesn't say chinese built knockoff...i've never met Ted A., but it's apparent to me that he obviously has a problem with Jack...I believe Jack sells both, and reading the post he says the intercooler in question is being compared with Jack's old unit, not the new one..anything to stir up second grade girl stuff, I guess

Thanks Steve for the clarification... you are right on. As for Ted and Otto, they are just Trolls that can't seem to get enough of me.... They troll every thread related to me, even the latest faceplate thread for the MSBC boost controllers, Otto finds a need to step on the thread with "his" products... Oh well... where does it end. We all have our opinions.. I have mine. Ted's BS does not require a comment from me, just as Otto... Keep stirring the pot boys, more and more of the reading public will see your agenda of dogging and trolling me... all one has to do is look at your post history to see the pattern. If I post or my name is mentioned.... guaranteed you both will have a dig... or attempt to create controversy. Like I told you before Shane..... I don't have a lot of desire to post or participate on your board with these 2 dogs chasing me around... but I'm still here, just a shame I am handcuffed from participating as I would like to.. Please,Do you feel that any of the information I have posted in any thread that YOU feel pertains to you somehow is accurate or wrong in any way?
None of it is opinion but fact weather is be intercoolers,boost controllers,or turbos,fuel pumps,convertors,etc....

You know i have pretty much tried not to get involved in any of this internet crap as of the last 2 years or so, but it's certain people that keep going on and on and on and on about things and it is old and tiring and predictable.

This keeps buick guys divided and s*** your at the track thinking there could be a fist fight and there is definitly tension in the air and your supposed to be there to have a good time and enjoy something we all love.

I myself have been brought into some of this s*** but i am telling you now i do not have a problem with no one, sure there have been issues but to dwell on it like an old women......no thanks, turn the page and move on.

It isn't Chinese, it is english that you don't get.

Here are a couple of websites about how China used reverse engineering to catch up technology-wise but I have to warn you that if you haven't mastered the difference between accurate and inaccurate it may be a tough read for you.

This really has nothing to do with the intercooler situation but do you guys really not think that majority of Buick exhaust and intercooler products arent made in China these days?

Look at what the stuff is selling for.. you cant even buy the stainless in the US for the prices some of these people are selling complete units for.

I priced having headers made in China.. $96.00 a set if I made 50 sets. 35 of them probably wouldnt have fit but its crazy how cheap stuff is over there. No wonder everyone is running there as fast as they can to get stuff made.
