Intercooler Restoration

Any suggestions on how to strip off the old paint, clean/prep, and repaint an intercooler to make it look like new? Any specific paint that looks like the factory black? Would it need to be some type of radiator paint to help with the heat transfer? Thanks for any information.

I've blasted a couple at low pressure with walnut shells, cleaned, and sprayed with Eastwood's Radiator Black (satin). Looked perfect.
