That looks like shady tree mechanic stuff. Definately not a Turbo Buick deal.

hit the nail on the head.. I "believe" they were made in Mass for Lawrence C :p actually a few still around up here

Who is Lawrence C? Sorry for the Newbie questions but I'm more of a Mopar guy. Any relation to Mark Brown?

Thanks for the quick answers for the newb by the way

LC was just a podunk gentleman racer out of Humble, TX- he got into the TRs as a hobby, and parlayed that hobby into a successful business.

Good guy.

how did they work grumps? i had one a few years ago that worked great.

they worked great on the track ... I tried one on my TTA ( in 1990 from what I remember)but it didn't like being used on a daily driver.. race track was another story :p

I believe the Mark Brown out of Mass. is the one who made them for LC. They work GREAT!!! Old technology but still gets the job done. He made the one that was on Tweaked went it went 7.7's @ 179. Actually, it’s still on there 10+ years later.

Hope this helps.

For info on LC, Go to Conley's Performance Plus - Chassis Dyno Center - Buy performance parts  and services for Buick, Chevy, Camero, Impala, GN and more and click on "About Us"

Marks Co. was called Precision Weldments in Chelmsford, Mass. I dont know if they are still around or not. I agree, they were awesome pieces and fit extremely well!

Shoot some more pics of that piece of history.

'K

That pic is of an installed Intercooler I stole off of Derek O'banion's site. I hope he doesn't mind..

So.... how much is it worth?
