Interior fabrics

Hello I am a newbie and am finally deciding to start gathering as many oem exterior and interior parts for a future "makeover" for my 87gn. I have seen that jays' gn and c.a.r.s. both sell covers for headrests, seats etc. My questions are,, are the c.a.r.s. and jays gn fabrics the same or from 2 different suppliers???? How close is this stuff to original??? I went to c.a.r.s. site and enlarged their headrests picture and even though they stressed it was the same as oem it didn't seem to have the same fabric texture,,, they seemed to be "fuzzier" in look than the factory. Is there anyone out there putting out very good material for the interiors of g.n.'s Thanks Matt Green

It's hard to compare fabric texture on a 17 year old car.
Fact of the matter is - the OEM material has been discontinued for along time.

I'd call Paul up at Jax seatcovers in Wisconsin - excellent and personable guy to deal with.
