I was wondering if theres any special brackets that the plastic trim around the t-tops mount to or can the plastic trim be added to my car even though its got a full cloth headliner. Are the screw holes going to be in place even tho my car wasn't originally optioned with this trim? Thanks for any info.

Paul I think your question may be a little vague.
Wondering how your car wasn't originally opted for this trim means?

Ok...maybe I was a little vague...but I have no clue as to what the trim would be called....please forgive.

My Car has t-tops but has a full cloth headliner front to back.

I'm wondering if the 6 piece plastic trim that I've seen on other T-top GNs that goes under the sunvisors, down the center of the t-top pillar and then around the back of the t-tops will fit my car even tho it wasn't optioned with that trim.

Are there special brackets that hold it in place or are the screw holes in place on all t-top'd cars?

Hope this helps. Wish I could find a picture to post.

GNs with the C & C dealer installed T-tops have the full cloth headliner (no plastic trim). My GN has these T-tops and headliner.

GNs with OEM T-tops have the plastic trim.

But if I had to GUESS, I would say the plastic trim would not work on our style t-tops because from what I've read even the weatherstripping is different on both styles of t-tops so who knows what else is different between the two.

Maybe someone with an OEM t-top GN can have better input on how the trim is held on there.
