I pulled the front pump to install a hardened stator support, and was wondering a couple things.
I know I had some intermediate band issues in the past, and was going to just replace that in the trans. Should I do this or is it a waste of time?
If I do it, should I put in stock width band or the power band?
Will I need to machine the drum for the power band?
Also, at PTAC they have red and carbon fiber band bands. Carbon fiber is more expensive, is it better?
Lastly, should I put the 10 vane pump kit in or just leave it alone for now.
Is this stuff worth doing to try and get a little more time out of my trans, or am I doing enough to warrant a full rebuild?
