Water

1. 75% of American’s are chronically dehydrated.
2. In 37% of Americans the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.
3. even MILD dehydration is enough to slow a persons metabolism by 3%
4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of dieters in a University of Washington study.
5. Not enough water is the number one cause for daytime fatigue.
6. Preliminary research shows that 8-10 glasses of water a day is enough to ease most back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.
8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon caner by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79% and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.

And now for the properties of COCA-COLA

1. In many states the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coca-Cola in the trunk to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
2. you can put a T-bone stake in a bowl of Coca-Cola and it will be gone in two days
3. to clean a toilet: pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the “real thing” sit for one hour, then flush clean, the citric acid in the Coca-Cola removes stains from vitreous China.
4. to remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers; rub the bumper with a crumpled up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum, foil dipped in Coca-Cola
5. To clear corrosion from car battery terminals: pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to away the corrosion.
6. to loosen a rusted bolt: applying a cloth soaked in Coca-cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes
7. To bake a moist ham: empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished remove the foil allowing the drippings to mix with the Coca-Cola for a sumptuous brown gravy
8. To remove grease from clothes; empty a can of Coca-Cola into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle, the Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains.
9. It will also clean road haze from the windshield.

For your info…

1. The active ingredient in Coca-Cola is phosphoric acid. Its ph is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. Phosphoric acid also leached calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis
2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous material place cards reserved for highly corrosive materials.
3. The distributors of Coca-Cola have been using Coca-Cola to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years.

Now, do you want a glass of water? Or Coca-Cola?

lol, yeah i have never drank any cola, don't know why. The stuff is kinda scary with what it can be used to do

Canadian pennies are now copper plated zinc cores. At work we sawed a penny in half to see if Coke could eat the zinc core out of the copper plating. After about a month, the Coke had eaten a teeny bit of the zinc. We threw an old nail in too. The nail didn't mind one bit.

I lost a bet with a co-worker over the nail dissolving thing... I dropped a finishing nail in a glass of coke for 7 days and it looked the same when it came out as it did when it went in.

It does work on the battery corrosion, to an extent, but I have a hard time believing the rest too. Coke Good!
I do drink a lot more water these days though.

If the Coke "facts" were B.S. Where did the water "facts" come from. They all sound pseudo-scientific.

For years doctors have said people need 8-10 glasses of water a day. Recently studies have shown this to be bogus, that in fact the 8-10 glasses of water were not based on any study at all, just someone's musing that eventually became "fact". Therefore the 75% of chronically dehydrated American’s probably drops to a much lower number.

What is this comfusing of hunger and thirst? If I am thirsty I drink liquid I don't east a hot dog or a pizza. More B.S.

My son's 8th grade science project was to find which of several drinks dissolved meat the fastest. We used Coke, Pepsi, water, Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, orange juice, and apple juice. While all but water had visible effects, the worst of all by a vast amount was the apple juice. Remember the old saying said an apple a day, not a glass of apple juice a day. Mark :D :D :D
