ive got a ta 60 with a 2800 converter it it seems pretty good. not too much lag.:D

i think it will provide satisfactory results if the car is mostly street driven ,however at the track it will definately slow the car down a little.

im sorry .my reply was to vette killers question.in your application the 2800 will wake the car up and you will feel a noticable increase in performance at all throttle angles.

HeyChris718, which converter would best fit my app.I'm going with the te60 turbo,009's,thdp,the car will be on the street some of the time(i kind of want the best of both worlds)what would you say would be my best bet?

No you will be fine.

I have a 3K stall Vigilante in my GN with the stock turbo.

It works fine until I swap in the PTE51 turbo for that car.

It will spool nice and fast and won't be a problem driving with a 2800 stall converter. :)

When I asked Eric about the converter he put in, he said its a 2800 stall. Then when he told me he brake boosted the car to test it it only got up to 2500 rpm before the tires started to brake loose. Isn't it suppose to go to 2800? Don't know a lot about converters so thats why I'm asking this question.

????

what type of converter should i put in my te 44 009's with a 260h 212/212 comp cam?

it is street driven and raced 5 times a month? 1/8th mile track?

thanks
