Is my trans broken???

Yesterday I was driving at about 40mph, and my tranny suddenly slipped. Went right back into gear. Turned a corner, and lost all transmission power. Found that if I ran at high rpm, the car would move, but just barely. No notice prior to this... was running fine. A pump and converter was replaced probably 150 miles ago. Fluid level is fine. I have yet to drop the pan and look at the fluid. Any idea what may/might have happened??

Is the fluid level higher than normal? Th is would indicate a broken pump.Pull off a cooler line and see if you have oil flowing.

When you ask about fluid level, should I check that while running? I did pull the stick, and the fluid was nice and red. My problem is my driveway is a bit of a hill and the car could not make it up. I need to push it up into the garage tomorrow.

I did notice some fluid coming from the rear seal after I stopped, but it did not continue to flow.

Darn thing was running fine... then this...

If the pump broke or the converter drive hub oil will drain back into the pan and show a high level on the stick.
