I have a 83 turbo block that was taken to 40 over and now needs to be rebuilt again. Not sure if the damage is to bad or not. I have a odd fire block can I use it with my 83 crank and heads? Is there a difference between them? My plane is to put this in a Triumph TR7. If at all possible I want to make it blow through instead of draw through. And possibly use a twin turbo set up.

Um....NO!

There are different cooling passages in the odd to even fire blocks. Unless you use the odd fire heads and then the intake won't work. You have to use the 78 and up block so only even fire will work.

If you take your evenfire headgasket and put it on the block you'll see why it won't work. They moved the cooling passages in the center just enough so the cooling passages won't seal.
