Is this a 3R GM U yoke?

will it accept 1310 or 1330 U joints?

This Rear end looks like a GM 8.5 10 bolt; and the yoke looks like a 3R u joint; I as hoping you guys can confirm this for me. Thanks!

those through bolts should be tossed away and the correct thread in bolts should be used

does that look like a stock 8.5 10 bolt yoke?

Yes it dose looks like a 3R but someone drilled the thread out and turns that yoke into a peace of junk

Yes stock 3R No you cannot use 1310 or 1330
Time to visit Dennys Driveshaft
For a new yoke
If a new driveshaft is on your list of things to spend money on you can get a 1350 yoke and driveshaft from Denny
Don’t really need it unless you leave wheels up
A new shaft with 1330 up front and a R3/1330 out back and a new set of bolts and straps
I think he’s yoke comes with bold and straps

I just saw this is a leaf spring car ,looking at the yoke it’s a 3R size but to say it a 8.5 can’t say that for sure. my 80 TA had a 8.5 and my wife’s 96 GMC is 8.5 but 7.5 uses a 3R U joint too.

yea thanks for the help guys. it's actually a 1969 firebird. I'm still trying to figure out what the hell this rear is. It does have the squared off bottom housing like the 8.5 10 bolts from the GN"s. But the cover looks like an 8.2 ; so very strange. I'll post a pic of the cover soon.
