My recently acquired GN is leaking ATF fluid

A buddy in my area said he'll fix it and thinks its either from the O ring for dipstick tube and kick down cable, or the pump seal and pump bushing.

Said $50 for the O ring fix , or $350 pump seal/bushing or torque conv seal fix

Are these reasonable prices? I know the seal/bushing is more work because you gotta drop the trans out, so lemme know if anyone has any input, Thanks

Chris

R+R of a tranny is around $200 up here in the Northeast.

Not sure how much to replace the seal after that probably not near $50 including the part.

Dipstick tube you can check and do yourself, no O ring that I remember just factory RTV holding it on I believe.

It only leaked when it sat for 2 weeks, what do you think it could be? Car runs fine, shift perfect...he's looking at it on saturday, so i'll post how it goes

Is meineke a good place to take it? How much you think they'd charge for those repairs?
