Went to a friend's house for a Christmas party last night. He lives in a neighborhood with $500K houses and yes, his is one of them. (why a single guy would need a house this big is beyond me ) He has this new outbuilding on his lot and I got to see what was in there. How about a complete dyno setup! Totally professional setup with glassed in room for the motor and a one stall garage to work on a car too. BTW he can fit 6 cars under his house as his whole basement is a garage.

He had a big block Chevy on the dyno and fired it up briefly to demonstrate. I told him he also needs to add a chassis dyno next. Just wondering what the neighbors must think when he is doing dyno pulls?

Now thats just the kind of house I need.... When the girlfriend starts yelling at me I'll just go out and make a dyno pull to drown her out.......

funny, in the area i live in, 500k will get you a two bedroom ranch style with one bathroom


my house alone was just over a mil and its a simple 2 car garage 3 bedroom with an upstairs TV room.

Yeah, CA = S.O.R.E. (severely overpriced real estate).

We've got a 2000 ft sq home, six car garage, and inground pool worth maybe 150K max here in SE TX... Not that I'm complaining!
