anyone ever used a 119127 isky cam?wondering how it did and the specs the website told me nothing on the cam

I have used just about every brand camshaft for the turbo Buick out there. NONE have ever laster a real long time. Flat tappet that is. I only use roller cams now. I use to have flat Buick cams stacked up in the corner of my shop like cord wood. Figured the Smithsonian might want them someday. Just think of the tax write-off.:biggrin:

why do flat tappet cams go bad in buicks ive never messed a cam up in my life.what makes these motors so bad?

Real small base circle is the main reason.

i found where this cam is ground on a 109 lc is this enough on a turbo buick or will i be losing power because of the valves being open at the same time?

Do the search plenty of talk on cams . The Isky cam from Summit or similair is what most use 204-214.
