I could barely stand going to work and having to listen to all the suddenly "die-hard" Sox fans running their mouths about how great their team was and how bad the Cubs (I bleed cubby blue) were last year, but now with the Banner raising and ring ceremonies in the opener and today all the nonsense is in full boost again at work. The only good thing in all of this is that the sox number 2 starter got lit up by the Tribe today and the Sox took an 8-2 beating in the end. I know they are defending their crown and blah blah blah, but the fact remains that as great as they played last year, this game is all about "what have u done lately" not "look what we did last year". So Sox fans relax sit back and shut ur pie holes cuz theres 160 games left this year. Mercy, Stretch, He Gone--man dont get me startin on Hawk!

Tribe did light them up today, Aaron Boone had a nice day. How about jim Thome though he had a bomb in each game.

I went to highschool with Corey Patterson and I'm still friends with his little brother Eric who will be play pro ball i'm sure.

Go Braves all the way through the season...then quit 2 games into the playoffs!

Eric Patterson

I was told that he is way faster than Corey and that he will actually listen to the coaches. Something his brother never did. Cant wait to see him get a legit shot at a roster spot.

Oh yeah what about..

A.J. Perzinski gettin run over on a play at the plate. Priceless, Cleveland sent a message to the champs. The hometown crowd really made it worse than it was, but I love old school, hard nose, "Pete Rose", style baseball. Man Im so happy baseball is back.

Another CUBS fan checking in. I thought I was the only guy completely annoyed by that "he gone" guy.

CUBS RULE

Chalk up another loss to the Sox. Chicago relies on their pitching to carry them through the season and so far their hitting dosent look too outstanding aside from Jim Thome. Podsednik is now a ****ping 0 for 13 on the season I believe
