I had a machine shop in town build my motor back in January 2000. The motor lasted about 20,000 miles. It lost oil pressure last May, I had metal in the oil, all the bearings were dammaged, oil pump shot. I have not had the time or $$$ to fix it. Upon pulling the heads, it appears that the pistons are the wrong size or the block is bored wrong. THere is a lot of play between the pistons and the cyl. walls. It is supposed tto be 30 over.
My question is--are these the right pistons. They are JE's and the part number is JEP 131557. I some of you out there are using 30 over JE pistons so can you tell me if these are the right size?
By the way, the machine shop went out of business last year after about 20 years.
