Just like title says, I was wanting to run low 11's. Will this turbo be capable of doing this?

I don't think John makes a TE-51....could be wrong, but never heard of it...a better choice for low 11's would be a TE-45 or TE-63

Ditto what Woody said. Works good on stock and modded motors. Just need a good 3200 stall for either to work.

Well, if it is similar to PTE's 51 they claim it'll support 585 HP.

I think a te-61 would be a better choice for your goals, the 51 would be pretty much maxed out at the 11teen range. What kind of converter are you planning to run? I am using a 9/11" that stalls at 3200rpm & a John Craig te-61 w/a PTE exhaust housing. Great street manners, spools like a beast (mid 1.7 60' launching off idle) and has plenty of gusto to run 10.7 ~ 10.6's @ 120+ mph.

I too am not sure JC makes 50 series turbos???

Anyway, a 51 is a little small for 11 flat...

:D

I`ve sent in my te44 for a te51 from John Craig at Limit Engineering at Arizona.Have reciepts for it also and says TE51. (No more guessing )

On the stall I have a Coan 2800-3200 stall so It sounds like I am good there.

I will probably end up getting a bigger turbo I just seen this one for sale for a good price and I was wondering about it.
