John Kerry admits to War Atrocities

Kerry came out of the war opposed to it. He hated his fellow soldiers. I understand saying now the Vietnam War was a mistake, but anyone that opposed it while it was going on is worthless. Just like segregation. If you oppose it today, fine. But if you opposed it in the 50's and you lived in Arkansas, you are dirt.

The "FACT" is, Kerry BETRAYED his comrades in arms. He's kind of like, JUDAS. I wouldn't vote for him into DOG CATCHER.
I'm also very pissed off that Bush, in any way, has gone out of his way, to show regret for the prison photo debacle. As far as I'm concerned, it's not even worth mentioning. They were abused? SO WHAT............

I cant speak for either Bush or the other scumbag cause i wasnt in their shoes. I have watched the interview with keary and when he admitted to those attrocities, it wasnt like he was saying...thats the way war goes, what i believe he was saying was...I KILLED THOSE PEOPLE BECAUSE UNCLE SAM MADE ME DO IT. personally, i wont vote for keary because he wants to ban all assault weapons. i have plenty of them and never commited a crime, but if that Ahole is elected, im gonna have to surrender my gats. Now getting to the cop bashing, ive been in the military for 15 years and have served as military police, been in a combat zone, fought fire aboard a ship, eaten hundreds of doughnuts, drank thousands of foreign beers but i have NEVER disrespected a member of a uniformed service. I think that $hit is low and petty.

What's up with all of the "Kerry got undeserved purple hearts" talk? He received a couple little nicks on his hand from ricocheted shrapnel in a firefight in Vietnam.

Actually you will find most creative thinkers are either Dems or Independents. They did a study of Hollyweird types and found something amazing...Reps were far and few, next followed by Dems, with the majority being Independents. In other words, they think for themselves, not swayed by political rhetoric.
A majority of scientists, engineers and other creative "thinkers" are either Dems or Independents....So much for your rhetoric reegull...

And to think I always equated their output to drug usage.

The only REP that is in high office, that was not a P#ssy chickenhawk, draft dodger, is Colin Powell, who happens to be the most cautious about our foreign policy. Maybe because he like Kerry actually dodged bullets instead of running away from conflict like those presently in office did from the Viet Nam War. Ya' know, Bob, I was thinking the same thing. As a matter of fact, I've been in combat myself (Beirut, DS, Mog, plus ac ouple of NEOs) but I don't talk that way. I've known very few SEALS or other snake-eaters who rant like that. So I'm a-wonderin' if good ol' WE4ster would PM one of us with his real name, so's we could bounce his name off the UDT-SEAL board, and see what's up.
He'll prolly get righteously P-O'd at this post, but WTF. If he's the real deal, I'll apologize every day for a week on this board. But being a real SEAL and all, he'd know all about all the phonies, and how the SEAL community is sick and tired of them, so he'd understand, and be more than willing to establish his bona fides.

Haven't been keeping up with all the news shows since this rediculousness has come out. The media has taken this and run with it to unbelievable proportions. Much to do about nothing. From the little I've watched about it, I'm SAD to say, it appears to me that the left has caused the President to "BLINK".

From that picture of Senator Kerry's band of brothers there are 17 people. Of that group, twelve have signed with SwiftVets. This also includes his entire chain of command through flag grade officers and fellow swift boat commanders and the commander of his boat before him and the commander after him. I believe they know. They WERE there. And they now say he is not fit to lead our military as Commander In Chief.

It was actually the comments of Smokin'6 who set me off. I spent my time in fire zones in other countries and in ours. The Military Police gives you lots of opportunities. Join a rapid deployment unit and they get even better. And from my personal viewpoint, there didn't feel like much difference who was holding the gun on the other side. Like it says in the song, "Letters from Home," "Pick up my gun and get back to work." Another point in favor of cops and firefighers is you will find they are highly represented in the National Guard and Reserve forces. Those staying behind on the home forces are working harder and longer to fill job spaces and hold them for when the soldiers return.
