Well when I was 15 I got a Camaro IROC-Z. I was working at my dads shop at the time. about a year later my dad went out on a Tow and came back with a 1985 buick regal. The thing had a blown motor and the guy payed my dad 50 bucks and gave him the car to tow it off the highway:rolleyes: He was gonna scrap it but I made a deal with him he could have my IROC if he gave me the Regal and Helped me restore it. Well he agreed and We got started. This thing was junk... It needed quarters rockers doors. yeah we should have scraped it but I was in love. After the body work was done we painted it... of course black. But my dad wasnt a plain jane painter.. He threw some maroon pearl with some purple pearl over that. A little history on my dad. He is one hell of a body man and painter. I know people say that crap all the time but i really mean it. He can do some of the coolest stuff. anyway. The thing looked insane. I will try and post some pics. I changed all the interior to maroon and she was done. Other than the chevy 305 i installed in it. Well i got quite a bit of respect for that car in high school. One day a kid asked me if it was turbo charged? Ah well now dont judge for this but I didnt know about gn's or any turbo charged buicks for that matter. I did some research and fell in love all over agian. My goal was to have a gn someday. I worked at a local electronics store when I was 18 and had the joy of driving a customers gn once!! Boy o boy that didnt help my addiction at all. Over the years I owned several buicks and never a gn or any turbo buick. Due to buying a house when I was 18 and fixing it up on one income, and getting married at 23 and having two kids.. it was hard to afford much other than what we needed. I finally found a gn locally and I just so happened to have sold my 38 chevy the day before. It was the best car day of my life driving away in my dream ride.
So thats my story. Im a buick guy for life.

Ill try and get some pics up tommorrow. I know I have pics of at least 3 of my regals. Maybe 4? Im off the old mans shop to do some painting. See ya
oh yeah as long as a have some attention is it normal to lose my power brakes every now and then. My boost gauge reads vacume but at random times they are hard to press? Thanks guys

are they stock breaks or has somebody done a vac conversion? These cars didn't come with vacuum breaks. Sounds like you have the stock breaks and the accumulator ball is going bad. Very common, but very scary. Do a search on vacuum breaks conversion.
