Hey guys, I finally got my 3'' internal gate TA downpipe today. I just figured I'd throw it out here and ask if there was anything you guys ran across when installing it that I should be looking for or was it just a straight bolt in process. I've got the Poston 3'' Hi flow cat on the car as well, and I'm thinking I may have to move it back some to fit the dump pipe that came with the downpipe as well. What do you guys think or what have you come across in your experience with this pipe? Thanks guys!

The dump pipe is made to replace your cat. It should slide onto your down pipe and have the 4 bolt flange to bolt to the cat back exhaust.

what kind of cat did you get. just like the new style turbos there are new style cats that flow more and burn the same amount of dirty stuff. Their called spun metallic, the old style hi flow will be a honeycomb ceramic center. I just got my 100 cell spun metallic 3.5" cat from overseas, the oval center section is only a few inches long aka "shorty style.

2x on the pics

I will get a picture up later today after work. It's an older style honeycomb cat, I picked it up around 2 years ago I believe and it was from Poston. The cat-back exhaust is not a kit that I bought, my buddies shop fabricated it but it shouldn't be too much of an issue. I'll get some pics up tonight and see what you guys think! Thanks!

The pipe is awesome. Great fit and easy install. My old exhaust sat too far forward and I had to remove and replace it. Going from a stock dp to this pipe made the most noticeable difference in my car so far (pretty much stock when I bought it).

Here are some shots of the cat and downpipe connections and one showing where the cat back piping goes. Let me know what you guys think! PS...the underside of the car looks terrible from sitting for about 2 months!

The TA Downpipe is a work of art.

I don't run a cat, but install couldn't be easier.
I was worried about install with all the downpipe install horror stories.
Had it in, fitted and bolted in 10 minutes.

Which show is that? If I can get this bad boy back together I will be at every show there is this weekend! LOL. Seriously, I'm dying to drive this thing again and I just gotta get the downpipe on. Of course the old stuff is being stubborn and not coming off nicely. It may be just as easy to get it to an exhaust shop and have them chop the old stuff out and put some new stuff in I guess. I don't really want to do that unless I have to though.

To be honest with ya, not sure. My buddies shop did that and I was just out looking for one today with no luck!

LSPBC is putting it on. Go to the Texas section and see where SuperCPA posted it. Just my old beater an I are going but I want to meet some of the guys for the first time. Hope to see you there.

Yeah I had a brainlapse, I did know that was this weekend, haha. I will be there for sure, whether I have the GN or not for sure. Hope to see you there!

Finally got all of the old junk off and got the new TA pipe on, and you guys were right, it is a very well designed piece. It slid right in, and everything bolted right up as nice as you could ever want it! Just figured I'd update and let you all know the car's back up and running!!

Mike, any pics of the TA DP before you installed it.....or some pics installed at the motor?

Here is a shot of the downpipe and another of the dump pipe that came with it. I don't have one on the car yet, but I can get that one soon.
