Wow, looks great! Is that "metal vein" or something? X2 on price, like to keep track of what it costs in case I ever do mine!

silver vein when i got there didn't kno is was that many diff silver veins i think its like 5 or so

tdd, try not to let anything rub on them longterm. Plug wires/ vac lines ect...
Even though it is powder the veins have a tendency for the diff colors to kinda blend together and make a ugly spot.
 
Looks real good brother! The lein looks really sweet, and that is a pretty good price too!

I was taught that finish was called hammer finish.
 
Do you know if your egr block off plate seals good? Been hearing that it is hard to get it to seal. I have one and am afraid to install it.

ima hav to get back with u on that i had to remove it and put the egr back on

I just made my own plate and had the same thoughts. I ended up drilling and tapping two 1/4-20 holes in the "meat" between the manifold port and the plenum port and drilled the block-off plate to match. Now I have the 5/16" stud at the bottom and a pair of 1/4" bolts about 2/3 up towards the top holding it down.
