According to Five Finger Death Punch it's "Never Enough". :p

What did he do anyway?

And, who really gives a hoot?? This kind of "news" is about as interesting as seeing the latest nonsense from LiLo...

Just disappointed that kids can no longer have sports hero's...
But I ain't going to loose any sleep.

Just so long as long as nobody messes with Justin Bieber..........

It would be kinda funny if he couldn't hit American League pitching.

10 years would be a long time to just collect a check.

Somehow I don't think that's gonna happen though.

I wouldnt need your respect if i had ten million dollars .. Why should he ?

He now has 254 million more........$$$$$$

Just not a lot in this world to look up too.. Jeter should always be a Yankee and I was hoping Albert would always be a Cardinal....O'well.

my point exactly ..didnt buster douglas get like 8 million for 45 seconds in the ring .. No one gives him any respect & i dont think he cares .. Money cant buy happyness but it sure makes it easy to fake it ..

If your a Cards fan you should be glad he didn't sign a 10 year deal with them. By year 5 the salary/production would cripple the team (ie Alfonso Soriano, etc) As a Cubs fan, I'm glad the Cubs didn't make a *real* offer to pick him up.

It was disappointing to hear the news that he signed with the A's but I think he made a smart business decision as did the Cardinals for not spending that kind of money on one player. That is a WHOLE LOT OF MONEY!!!!

X2 When these 'sports hero's' and 'stars' start paying my bills.........maybe then I'd give a hoot.....maybe not.............

He was underpaid for the first 10 yrs of his career. he never pissed and moaned like everyone else would putting the numbers up he did. I honestly thought when the cardinals won the WS, they would be able to keep em. But im glad he's outta the national league.. haha.... He's getting 70k a day for the next 10 yrs!!! Id be happy with 70k a yr!!!

I am glad they didn't tie up 10 yrs. and that kind of $$$$$$ but still would have liked to see him
retire a Card. I would bet the Cards win a WS before the Angels..... Money doesn't always = wins...ask the Yankees
