just trying to understand system in car

ok this may be stupid ? time but i'm trying to understand the waste gate system in my car,what i have is a ta49 that is connected to a atr 23/4 down pipe with a art external waste gate that has a dial on top increse or decrese so far so good from the waste gate their is a vac. line that goes to y one line gose to a nother dial and another line goes to the turbo no lines are attached to the solnoid on the pass side vc.does this sound right and witch dial do you adj. boost? thanks .

The setting on the wastegate is for preload. Use the other dial to set boost.

Does this diagram show how yours is set up?

except for the line that comes off the top and goes to regulator,mine comes off the bottom of the wastegate to regulator. thanks
